Are you in for a treat! Yuuummmm!
You'll think you've gone to heaven when you put one of these babies in your mouth! Not only are they delicious, these organic chocolate truffles are so much fun to make and they're actually nutritious, using organic cacao and pea protein powder!
This is a great thing to do with kids, or have a healthy-dinner party and invite your pals to help you make them. Start making the truffles, place them in the freezer for a while, make the rest of the meal, and finish with this finger-lickin' fun fest.

Keep in mind, if you're healing, or on a weight loss plan, keep these tasty treats only for very special occasions! Though healthier than options with sugar and artificial ingredients, they are still calorie-rich. So, enjoy sparingly ...
1/2 cup organic coconut oil (melted)
1/2 cup organic cacao powder
1 1/2 cups cashew or almond butter
1/2 cup organic maple syrup (or add stevia-sweetened pea protein powder instead)
1 Tbsp vanilla extract
1/4 tsp Himalayan salt
1/4 tsp cinnamon
Dash cayenne pepper
1. In blender (or food processor) add ingredients in order listed. Start on low (so cacao powder doesn’t go all over the place) then high 30-60 seconds.
2. Scrape contents onto seal-able glass container. Freeze about 30 to 60 minutes till somewhat hard.
3. Scoop about teaspoon and roll quickly into little balls. (It melts fast. This is the fun part!
4. Then coat them with various options:
(roll them on following ingredients placed on flat plate)
crushed almonds or pistachios
or my favorite: 1/2 cup cacao powder, 1 tsp cinnamon, 1/4 tsp salt, dash of cayenne.
NOTE: To make these a healthier treat, add a scoop of Vanilla Pea Protein Powder. Since it's already sweetened with stevia, you can drop the maple syrup!
