Our mission is to inspire and support YOU to live life to your highest potential.

Eli, a "Reinvention Specialist," has successfully reinvented his life many times across various career paths, and loves coaching others using out-of-the-box tools to break through perceived limitations to reach their dreams and goals. As a Cancer Thriver, he was put to the ultimate test of grit and determination, and made significant lifestyle changes that resulted in a full recovery. He leads transformational workshops with his life and business partner Joseph, and is grateful for all the good in his life. He has degrees in film & television, and art & design.
Joseph is an inspired life coach with an innate ability to support others to reconnect to their deepest truth and bring their body, mind and spirit back into balance. He is a certified hypnotherapist, a spiritual counselor, and a gifted found-object assemblage artist. He is an environmentalist to the core and has organized dozens of community and personal growth events that have benefited thousands of people. He has degrees in education, human services and an MBA.
We met at our first wedding. Literally.
What?
It's true! We met in a crowd of 100,000 people at gay pride in San Diego, summer of 2000. There was a mass commitment ceremony for a few dozen couples - and we happened to be standing next to each other, watching.
Complete strangers.
When the minister said: '"Please face your partner and repeat these vows after me," Joseph turned to Eli and said "Hey, do you wanna do this?'"
Eli, in a totally uncharacterstic way - without reading reviews or Consumer Reports - simply said Yes!
At the end of the ceremony Eli said: "Now that we're married, what's your name?"
And the rest is history. A week later, we exchanged rings and have been supporting each other to our highest potential ever since.
Our relationship is powerful, loving, supportive, fun, spiritual. So lucky! (We've been married three times, the last one, legally. Finally!)
In 2003 we founded Sublime Design Interiors, LLC - a successful interior design firm - and have worked together ever since. Because of our business name, people began to call us "The Sublime Guys" which is how we came up with the name of this website and personal growth business.
Flash forward to Autumn of 2014.
Eli is diagnosed with Cancer. The world turns upside down. But together we discovered the way through it. And afterwards continue to thrive in all ways. (Get Eli's FREE RECIPE BOOK, if you'd like!)
We've been fortunate to support one another with our individual dreams and passions. Together, we figured out strategies for success and wellness and continue to improve our lives daily.
And now our mission is to share what we've learned about creating a wonderful, positive, empowering, healthy life, to support others to their highest potential in order to get back on track and stay the course.
